Patrick Properties, a commercial property investment and development company, took a strategic step toward operational efficiency and sustainability by installing a solar energy system across its buildings in Altrincham. Known for managing high-quality office and industrial spaces, Patrick Properties now strengthens its environmental and economic performance with renewable energy integration.
Project Mission
The objective was to reduce electricity costs, enhance environmental responsibility, and future-proof the company’s energy supply. With a system designed to generate consistent output and minimise disruption during installation, this project demonstrates how solar energy can be seamlessly integrated into existing commercial properties.
The Challenge
Patrick Properties needed a solar solution that would perform reliably across multiple sites while ensuring the installation process did not impact ongoing business operations. The challenge was to design and implement a solar system that delivered real value quickly, with measurable results from day one.
Our Solution
We deployed a 128 kW system made up of 320 panels, split between two buildings. The system was installed on schedule with minimal disturbance to the workplace environment, as noted by the client’s facilities team. From the outset, the panels began generating clean, renewable energy and outperformed initial generation estimates.
Results Achieved
System Size and Generation
With a total installed capacity of 128 kW, the system generates approximately 106,157 kWh of clean electricity annually.Annual Electricity Savings
The solar energy system now accounts for 25% of the company’s electricity usage, resulting in meaningful cost savings and improved energy efficiency.CO₂ Reduction
An estimated 22,959 kg of CO₂ emissions are avoided each year—demonstrating the tangible environmental impact of switching to solar.
