Gordian Strapping has installed a 38 kWp rooftop solar array at its Basingstoke site. Supplying strapping and packaging equipment since 1937, the company now generates close to 26,000 kWh of its own electricity each year. The system offsets daytime demand across the workshop and offices, saving over £7,500 on electricity in year one and cutting the site's carbon footprint by around 5 tonnes annually.
