Atherton Material Handling has installed a 74 kWp rooftop solar array at its Retford site. Building conveyor systems for quarrying, recycling and marine customers means heavy fabrication work across a full working day. The system generates over 66,000 kWh of its own electricity each year, saving more than £16,000 on electricity in year one and cutting the site's carbon footprint by almost 13 tonnes annually.
